Are you passionately pro-life and artistically inclined?  Can you use your writing talents to be a voice for the voiceless?

Enter Right to Life of Indianapolis’ student contests for your chance to win up to $250 in prize money for yourself, plus an additional $250 for your school, church or home-school organization.

Your essay, artwork or speech could be featured at the Annual Celebrate Life Dinner September 28.

Right to Life of Indianapolis’ Essay contest is open to all students in Marion County and the surrounding “doughnut” counties.

Essay Contests:

We have four sets of grade levels for our Essay contest:  7th Grade, 8th Grade, 9th & 10th grade, and 11th & 12th Grade.

The winning essay of each grade level contest is published in the dinner program for our October 6, <em>Celebrate Life </em>Dinner.  Plus, you could earn up to $250 for yourself, and an additional $250 for your sponsoring organization.

Speech Contest:

You can use your voice on behalf of the voiceless at Right to Life of Indianapolis’ Speech contest.


Open to 10th, 11th and 12th grade students, the the Right to Life of Indianapolis Speech Contest is your chance to share your pro-life views with others. The winner receives $250 prize money, plus a $250 grant for their school, church or homeschool organization. The winner is also invited to speak at the Right to Life of Indianapolis Celebrate Life dinner on September 28.


In addition, the winner of our contest goes on to represent Right to Life of Indianapolis at the state oratory contest and possibly even the National Right to Life Oratory contest.

Art Contest:

Showcase your artistic talent, while making a statement for the sanctity of human life!


Right to Life of Indianapolis’ art contest is open to 10th, 11th and 12th grade students from Marion County or the surrounding “doughnut counties.”


The theme for the art contest is “Celebrate Life!” The 1st place winning artwork will grace the cover of the Annual Right to Life of Indianapolis Celebrate Life dinner program book on September 28. Plus, the winner receives $250 and an additional $250 grant for your art department, school, church or homeschool organization.
