Right to Life of Indianapolis’ Essay contest is open to all students in Marion County and the surrounding “doughnut” counties. We have four sets of grade levels for our Essay contest:  7th Grade, 8th Grade, 9th & 10th grade, and 11th & 12th Grade. The winning essay of each grade level contest is published in the dinner program for our September 20, Celebrate Life Dinner.  Plus, you could earn up to $250 for yourself, and an additional $250 for your sponsoring organization. Showcase your artistic talent, while making a statement for the sanctity of human life! Right to Life of Indianapolis’ art contest is open to 9th through 12th grade students from Marion County or the surrounding “doughnut counties.” The theme for the art contest is “Celebrate Life!” The 1st place winning artwork will grace the cover of the Annual Right to Life of Indianapolis Celebrate Life dinner program book on October 6. You can use your voice on behalf of the voiceless at Right to Life of Indianapolis’ Speech contest.   Open to 10th, 11th and 12th grade students, the the Right to Life of Indianapolis Speech Contest is your chance to share your pro-life views with others. The winner receives $250 prize money, plus a $250 grant for their school, church or homeschool organization. Scholarship:

Have you made a pro-life impact through your activities and service during high school?  Right to Life of Indianapolis wants to honor you with the Joan Byrum Memorial Pro-Life Scholarship.

This $1,000 scholarship was begun in 2007 to recognize and develop pro-life convictions and leadership among students in the Indianapolis area.

The scholarship assists a student who has shown pro-life commitment and involvement during high school and dedication to the pro-life philosophy as they continue their education in college or a vocational program.

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors from Marion County or any of the “doughnut” counties.
