This information was compiled by the Indiana Catholic Conference in the belief that all life is sacred, including that of the unborn, and that special care must be given to women who face pregnancy without emotional and financial support and to their children who need medical care.
The Church recognizes the anguish of these women and pledges to work – through education, through direct services and through public policy efforts – to help those in need. With the support of the Catholic community, Catholic health agencies and social service agencies throughout the nation have and will continue to provide services to pregnant women, especially those who would otherwise find it difficult or impossible to obtain high quality care.
