400-500 Indianapolis students to attend the Annual March for Life in Washington, D.C.

January 22, 2015 will mark the 42 anniversary of the notorious Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision. Once again, hundreds of Indianapolis youth will head to Washington to join the March for Life.

The March for Life has consistently generated crowds of 200,000-300,000 people for over 40 years, making it the largest and longest standing civil rights march in our nation’s history. In recent years, the march has been dominated by youth from across the country. It’s a vocal symbol of the peaceful, persistent opposition to legalized abortion by what Ronald Reagan once dubbed, “the silent majority.” A CNN poll from March of last year showed 58% of Americans in opposition to abortion in all or most cases.

Right to Life of Indianapolis began providing grants for buses to the March for Life in 1996 when we helped fund four buses from the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. In recent years we have funded up to 17 buses in a single year. This year we will help send 10 buses and 2 vans of students, which will take up to 500 high school and college students to the March.

There is still room available on some of the buses!

Please call the Right to Life of Indianapolis office, (317) 582-1526 or E-mail life@rtlindy.org and we will help find available space for any student who wishes to go to the March for Life.
